Doheny Days Music Festival
Summer is about musical festivals and there are plenty of those in Southern California, from the big $350 per ticket 4 day festival of Coachella to the free 1 day festival of Make Music Pasadena, music lovers are sure to be pleased. On Saturday, September 8th, we found ourselves in Dana Point, CA (the southern part of Orange County) to volunteer at Doheny Days Music Festival, organized by Omega Events. This is actually a two day festival with a different line up on both days, but we only had the opportunity to attend the Saturday event. To sign up as volunteers for the event, there was a $15 charge which gets donated to a charity so even though it wasn't a free event for us, it was still worth the fee since we knew the money was going to a good cause.

Coachella Music Festival
You haven't lived a full life until you've experienced Coachella at least once in your lifetime. I have always heard so much about this extravagant music festival every year but never had the opportunity to attend due to scheduling conflicts or simply....money! This three day music fest costs approximately $350 (depending on when you buy the tickets), but expect to pay $350 to $400 for one ticket even at the early bird price, which is....get ready for this....almost a year prior to the event! For this year's festivities, I purchased my tickets in June of 2011 and let me just say that it was absolutely worth the wait!
